You can use these nine factors as a checklist when selecting your enterprise observability platform. This should not at all suggest that cost is the only decision factor for selecting observability platforms, but it will demonstrate that an unsuitable cost structure prevents enterprises from actually realizing the benefits of an otherwise ideal solution.
